Kate's Blessing

Cameron Blessed Kate on July 27th. Here are some pictures from her special day.

My sister-in-law, Heather, made the dress (to my specifications, might I add). The fabric is raw silk. I added on the bows and buttons and it turned out so sweet. When I was getting her dressed before church, Jake asked, "Baby Kate gonna be a princess today, Mamma?"

Cameron's mom made the white blanket for the occasion and the bracelet is one passed to her from her California cousins that they wore on their blessing day. Very special.

I think she is smiling here because she just pooped. I told her it was a "no-pooping" day, but she soaked right through her diaper and on to her dress anyway!
